Alikeness
Newfoundland Symphony Orchestra Sinfonia, together with percussionist Aiyun Huang, soprano Deantha Edmunds, and violinist and conductor Mark Fewer present a new album titled Alikeness, produced and released by Leaf Music. The album opens with Edmunds’ JUNO award-winning song-cycle Angmalukisaa (“round” in Inuktut), a personal composition about human connections.

Connections
Connections was released on National Indigenous Peoples’ Day, June 21st, 2022. This original solo album won Music NL’s 2022 Indigenous Artist of the Year, and 2022 Classical Artist of the Year. Deantha was also nominated for a 2023 East Coast Music Award for Connections.
My Beautiful Home
These beloved songs reflect my love for my home province of Newfoundland and Labrador, as well as the two worlds I reconcile through my artistry. They marry my identity as an Inuk with my training and passion for classical music.
